Good morning:

I have been in the iron game for many years now and I dont fully understand the full purpose of bridging, so my question is simple.

Isn't the point of going o a pct cycle is to allow your body to begin reproducing its own hormonal structure' i.e leutenizing hormone, etc, therby allowing your gonads to restart your test naturally???

So then for arguement sake, if you continue to bridge in between cycles and not allow the natural axis to spin back won't you be doing more harm than good????? I remember a post by a platinum member ( sory cant remember call name)whose been juicing for like a decade non stop and is now having serious problems.

So to the experts, wont bridging also bring problems for the athlete, by not having his/her body turn off and return back on thru natures design via pct therapy?????

ct.

First and foremost, a bridge(in most cases) will ALLOW partial HPTA recovery after a cycle, and will only cause minimal interference with HPTA function. This is why only CERTAIN compounds can be used for an effective bridge. Thus, you can NOT bridge with Deca, Tren and even Testosterone.

Post-cycle regimens containing Aromatase Inhibitors and SERM's are simply not enough for the SERIOUS bodybuilder to maintain his muscular gains post-cycle. Once a bodybuilders reaches a certain point of muscular development, the continued use of a mild anabolic becomes justified.

The HPTA is extremely resiliant. Not to mention, there is no evidence that delaying a FULL RECOVERY will somehow result in a greater chance of hypogonadism in the future. So long as LH continues to be secreted by the Pituitary, your HPTA is alive and well.

Bridging is only to be used by advanced bodybuilders, where maintaining muscle mass is more important than a full HPTA recovery at THAT time. I have bridged MANY times; sometimes directly after a cycle, and sometimes even AFTER a PCT, prior to going back ON CYCLE(Testosterone-based). My HPTA always recovers.

I could swear...yes, pretty sure....I MADE THIS EXACT SAME THREAD A FEW DAYS AGO THAT IS RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE QUE! Kind of annoying, no offense.

There is another active thread about bridging that is still being discussed right now. I'll close this for now.
