Geez that's pretty good... I'm REALLY impressed... I think you look great...

What do you do for abs? I tend to have a problem with crunches, as they seem to make my lower back ache... would this be an imbalance of the two? I naturally have decent abs, but want to work them anyway to get them a little more blocky...

Any tips would be great...

Thanks HBG :) as far as doing ab work, I do a 2 minute ab routine everyday, just 30 simple crunches, 30 legins, 30 bicycles and repeat that without letting my feet ever touch the ground. That's all the ab work I do. :)

I am starting off with 1 in the morning and 1 at night. We will just have to wait and see how it affects my body this time :)
 
Went to half carbs today and cardio has been upped to 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening. Also added in asprin and caffeine and Clen has been upped to 1.5 pills in the morning and 1.5 pills in the evening :)
 
I have a lovely hamstring tear right in the belly of it. Feels freaking lovely let me tell ya :) contest is like 4-5 weeks away, plenty of time to heal ;) Considering right now I do 45 minutes of cardio in the morning, 45 minutes of cardio in the evening, 1 hour of weight lifting, 1 hour of dance part of routine, 1 hour of tumbling part of routine, 1 hour of the whole routine together, 30 minutes of the strength moves in the routine, along with stretching and ab workouts, yeah, I have no problem putting a Hamstring tear in there, it fits right in :) Any thoughts for quicker healing? :) :) :)

ICE,ELEVATION AND A COMPRESSION BANDAGE for the hamstring tear.(You are not going to want to hear this..But... try and keep it elavated/bandaged and iced for at least 72 hours)
 
OMG brickgirl you look great. I wish I had someone around my area that could help train me.

I am sorry to hear about your hamstring tear. I had one of those about 15 years ago doing a cheerleading stunt and sorry to say my hamstring has never been the same. My tear was really bad though I was black and blue from my glute to my knee. Now if I do not stretch enough or even If I stretch too much I can feel it. All I can say is if it is bruised use some Arnica Gel It will help with the bruising, swelling and the pain. REST REST REST. You will recover and do just great.

These may be dumb questions, but I am gonna ask anyway:
1) What is Clen and what is it supposed to do.....

2) As for off-season v.s. on-season, where does the definition go during off season? Are you eating more fat? Is the reason there is an off-season and an on-season because it is too hard on the body to keep abs (and everything else) that defined year round?? The definition goes away THAT fast (vice versa).

I am just trying to understand how all this works:)

what does you diet look like now?
dont the pills at night keep you from sleeping?
 
Diet is identical except for take my carbs and cut them into 3/8's :) Clen doesn't keep me up, my ass is so tired at the end of the day, an 8ball of crack wouldn't keep me up :) :) :)

I start off with diet, wait till a platue, add in the cardio, wait till a platue, add in clen, it's just another stepping stone to lean down with, actual benefit? Dunno, I take a low dose, helps with the energy level though when you start cutting your carbs down a lot, that is my main benefit from it :) ECA works, I just alternate, body doesn't get used to one, so it keeps me going the whole time :) :) :)

How much water do you drink daily? I know it will change the last few days of your show, but how much are u drinking up until that point?
 
Ventipulmin is the best and you're a lucky girl:) As for you, good lord your abs are amazing. I personally think they look tighter than the ones in your avatar. Absolutely amazing...way to go!!!:D

Great job BG! I wanted to thank you for posting how you are dieting and the methods you use. Its great for the newbies to see how to use diet first and then add in the cardio. How you reduce the amount of carbs in a sensible,logical manner is sure to help a lot folks fiqure this dieting business out.

You go and kick some ass for us! Looking forward to some pics,too-Valerie
