Brian's Song on tonight.

A remake of the movie "Brian's Song" is on tonight on ABC at 7:00 EST. I don't really like remade movies but from what I have read about the reviews, it seems like it should be good. In case you are not familiar with this true story, it's about NFL Chicago runningbacks Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo of the Chicago Bears set in the 60's. Gale is black and Brian is white and they become best friends but Brian came down with cancer and Gale helped him cope with life and was at his bedside when he died. Sorry to spoil it for you but the real masterpiece of a movie was first aired in 1971. The original movie was great and if you haven't seen that one, it's worth renting and watching.

It was a pretty good remake. The original movie used a lot of actual game footage and since it was made in 1971, I was alot more realistic. If you haven't seen the original....rent it and watch it...it's worth it!

Awesome movie. I had to turn the lights off so that my girlfriend couldn't see the water in my eyes.

I've never seen the original although I've always been a fan of Sayers. Gotta go rent it.
