Anyone see the cover of Powerlifting USA with Brent Mikesell squatting 1074? Any place I could get a picture of better yet a poster of that?

Yea, I just got my copy from my mail-box like 5 mins ago!!!! WOW that is awesome.... Anyone else here see it?
Also Im not a "complete-expert" but from the picture on pg. 4, does this look like a full legal SQ? I have heard that recently many top-PL's are not being judged as strictly as they should be....
As far as where you could get a pic or poster, well maybe someone here can give you the web site of the comp federation and they might have it there? just a thought...

Yea, I'm looking a page 4. It looks just barely legal, but you don't know whether he's still decending or coming up. Hell, guy puts that much weight on his back and goes down even that far it's good enough for me.

I haven't seen the picture yet but I assure you that Brent Mikesell always goes well below parallel. I haven't ever heard of anyone questioning the depth of his squats.

I seen Brent Mikesell's video and it has clips of some of his biggest squats and some big competition deads (At least one was 800+). Sorry -- this is the real JayMac. He is another Jay powerlifter from Fl, adn a 242'er also. He's got the #10 bench from last year at 242 I believe. I wish I could have made it last week -- it would have been worth it. I am skipping the sr's and doing the state meet instead. I am not going to a meet like that with no help. I was lucky last year and the meet was right here so I had plenty of help. If I had a chance on winning I would have went anyway, t I am still at least 200lbs away from it. Next year, I am going. That is the one meet that I want to win one of these years.

On a side note, I was able to get photo's of his record breaking lift. I'd been emailing back and forth to someone I assumed was a webmaster or some type of employee. But it turns out of have been Brent himself, and he visits this board. Hell of a nice guy.
