Breathing

Hi! This may be off topic , but I just wanted to share something interesting that I just found out. I can hold my breath for 2 minutes instead of the usual 1 minute 30 seconds. The reason is when I inhale, my stomach bloats up , instead of getting sucked in. Does anyone give a damn about it anyway hahaa.... If you do can you try it and see which is better? (But you gotta learn how to make your stomach bloat when u inhale it might be a bit awkward first)

Thats the reason why . You gotta make yourself bloated when u inhale and you will be able to hold your breath longer. The girl record diver on conan o brien show was trying to teach him to do it, and when I tried it I managed to create a PR.

I know, this is off -topic but just wanted to see if anyone is interesed in this stuff, forgive me .

Really I don't think any of this is necessary for hardcore training. . .but for a lifeguard it probably comes in handy.

i'll try it since you took the type to tell us about it...some people are just ungratefull

ok i tried it...works good :fro:

if someone is a "diaphragmatic" breather, their stomach should rise and fall when breathing.

someone who breathes through the chest, needs to learn otherwise. its more efficient and allows for more volume of air to be moved, more efficiently.
