Braveheart vs Gladiator

Tough Call

Braveheart has more decapitations. Yet that chick getting sliced in two in Gladiator was impressive. Hmmm.

It's a push.

Gladiator, because of the whole Roman Empire involvement

Braveheart was great too, but fight that Maximus faught was I think more challenging

Braveheart hands down.

agreed, gladiator wasn't as bad as i had figured it would be and if you completely forget everything you know about history both are good movies.

that's a really close call. I'd give it to Braveheart because I like Gibson more. and the lack of a gratuitous nude scene hurts Gladiator a bit.

"Aye, fight and you may die, run and you'll live. At least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom?!"

Patriot was Braveheart in different costumes, with the little kids thrown in for the female audience. still enjoyable, though.

Gladiator, but I loved both flicks. Gladitor had better visuals IMO and some nice special effects. Plus like someone else said there was the whole Roman Empire thing.

It's close, but Braveheart is better, IMO. A much better ending, no nasty incest scenes, and of course the freedom speech. Gladiator had the bettor visuals, but that's not enough to make it a better movie, aye?

And a lot of Braveheart was copied, slain wife, transisition to heaven as the hero dies, etc., but that doesn't take away from how great Gladiator is.

I thought "Braveheart" is much better, especially the photography. The look of "Gladiator" is kind of depressing.
