They have "invisible" braces you can wear. They are not permanent as you can remove them. They are not noticeable at all on your teeth, yet get the job done at straightening.

They are called Invisalign I believe. Very neat, but expensive.

yea man, i got braces on when i was 19, and im getting them off in a few months....
they had to wait for my jaw to stop growing completely for some reason... its kinda a drag but honestly it hasnt messed anything up with any girls yet....

Had 'em at age 25-26, it totally sucked. At least my teeth don't show when I talk, so they weren't very visible. Hiding behind a beard helped too.

Damn, that was 21 years ago. Seems like it was only two decades before yesterday...

You can also get lingual braces, which go on the inside of your teeth instead of the outside....or acrylic so they're "see thru"
