Boy I Live on a Great Intersection

A woman just got hit by a car in front of my house! Specifically, a Jehovah Witness headed to the meeting hall, and they took the driver away in cuffs.

As an aside, while I don't wish any ill on the pedestrian ... I'd heard rumors that they were thinking about finding a new place and hot DAMN I hope this seriously motivates them to move!!! I'll never unload this house with them across the street (they overflow out of their parking lot and take up every piece of available parking for a full block in every direction two weeknights and practically all day Sunday, how the hell could I ever get the place shown?).

My husband wants to put a "subtle" bumpersticker on our car (since they park behind us all the time) you know "my other car is a broomstick" or "Goddess bless you" or just a nice discrete pentacle in the rear window.

I wanted to get a mock sign (you know those novelty parking signs you can get that look like the real deal) that says "Pagan Parking Only." We have to race their asses back here on meeting night or we're shit out of places to put the car.

They stopped bothering me after the first two years.

Okay, truth, they stopped bothering me after one of the stopped me on the street and I was wearing a pentacle. She actually stopped me with the specific intent of telling me it was a sign of the devil. I proceeded to correct her misconception, then said I had to get home and made darn good and well she saw where I lived. 15+ years they have never, ONCE knocked on my door, I also don't get complimentary copies of the Watchtower

They will take meds but will refuse a blood transfusion of any sort. I've had patients die due to refusal. Even parents whose child needs it have refused it leading to their childs demise.

yeah, people are ignorant about pentacles and other pagan symbols. Little do they know, most Christian symbology has its seminal roots in pagan symbols. The allegories, too.

I find the large pentagram and other tattoos I sport to be a great deterrent for jws, mormons, and most religious sects. That added to my typical gruff demeanor and I get left alone most of the time.

I refuse to ever have any type of transfusion..It has nothing to do with my religious beliefs. I just dont like the idea.
However call me selfish but if a transfusion were needed to save my kids you bet your ass they would get one. I myself wish to never recieve one.
I was so close to needing one when I had my last child, so I asked for need2's bloos seeings how both of ours are the same type..they cannot do that! But that is the only one I would take blood from, no one else.
