One guy in my block has a Cobra with now around 460HP. One of his first move was to get rid of the stock tires and get 18" Michelin Pilot Sport. He's competing every thursday night at the local drag race...

keep all your stock stuff - like the airfilter etc. If you need some warranty work done the performance stuff might void the warranty.
Go with the k&n and a full exhaust system, some good headers, let the thing breathe.

Man, don't do that stuff unless you actually want to compete. The car was designed by a large group of intelligent and well paid individuals to create a powerful, harmonious unit. IMO K&Ns and exhausts only make it sound cool, unless combined with further mods, adding thousands of dollars to the already high price tag as well as more strain on other components, i.e. tires, transmission, engine, suspension, etc. There really is no reason to dick with anything on that car.

I was looking at the Cobras last year, but I hear a new Charger is going to appear at New York's Autoshow. Did you get any savings off MSRP? The dealer here was offering 5grand off $40,000 models.

I live in Florida, left NY a few eyars agio, and the one thing I like about this place is you get about 10 months of excellent weather.
And no snow, which, combined with the stuff they do to the roads in the winter, destroys cars.
Matt I don't know how you could leave NYC I am guess it was for work. I like the change in the seasons I don't mind the snow for about one month but after that it gets to me. Only city in Florida I could see myself living in is Miami the rest seems kinda of boring.

The company grew really fast and had to hire 100 people - lot of lawyers and engineers. It was cheaper for us to get them at FL salaries than at NY salaries. The state and city threw all kinds of tax beraks at us to come here.
Miss NY, yep, sure do. But I still have a place there, and my family remains, so I get to NYC once a month or so. My sister just had a baby so it is an ideal reason to visit.
South Florida is big fun. I recently bought a condo in West Palm Beach and go to South FL about twice a month. My favorite deestination here in Jacksonville is the airport.
Hopefully once my house is done here I can enjoy it a little bit more. I'm not a huge fan right now.
