bought a cyclone for better gas mileage

It had an immideate placebo effect. I cranked up the truck, reved the engine and thought it sounded more powerful. The cyclone is supposed to spin air in the engine giving you better gas mileage. The study begins

It's crap LOL! The engine intake dynamics are a little more complicated then that but hell if you "feel" a difference it's worth it. I used to swear by "duralube" when i was younger. If you want your truck to run better just keep the thing tuned up and run synthetic fluids in the engine, tranny and differential, AMS is a good brand to go for. K&N filter is a must, Fresh plugs, clean the throttle bodies annually. You will be shocked how much better it will run. I also like to periodically reset the ECU.

most likely you won't send it back. The price of these products is set to allow a customer to feel like it's too much of a hassle to return it. In other words they set prices accoring to the ammount a person in a specific demographic feels comfortable loosing. it's all marketing. Ever notice how many products go for sale @ 19.95? The demographic targeted by those products will piss 20 bucks away and never bother to return anything, and it being mail order adds to the ammount of hoops you have to jump through.

AMSoil is a MLM scam. I'm sure it's good oil, but it's no better than the stuff you can buy in stores, like Mobil 1 or Redline. And it's expensive.

Dude i have been around high performance cars for some time. I can attest to the fact that AMS oil is the best on the market. Engines running 40 psi of boost on their turbos until they glow cherry hot were unable to evaporate AMS, The thing with AMS is how long it lasts with the same performance specs mile after mile. Redline is very good, i use it in the Gearbox and Diff. Engine wise, Redline starts to suck within 1500 miles, so does Royal Purple and Mobil 1 feels just like Dyno oil so IMO it's worthless as i can never feel a difference. AMS is available in most stores in my area.

I know their distribution tactics are a little unconventional, but product is top notch. Every certified test proves it. If they lied you can bet Big MOBIL 1 would sue their asses off.
