Do a search. Mr. X wrote up a nice post about how alcohol affects your body. Basically... evaluate how serious you are about your body/training. No an occasional drink wont "hurt" you but it does interfere with protein synthesis and can decrease test levels indirectly. So if you are putting a lot of time into your diet/workout regimine, is it really worth wasting that discipline just so you can have a drinK?

Yes, it induces estrogen: high levels of estrogen lower testosteron levels, i.e. less muscle gains.
