WHo here drinks alcohol on a dnp cycle? I was afraid to but i'm thinking it would be fine as long as i up my anti-oxidants. What could really happen besides over-heating? I just still want to be able to have a couple of drinks with my friends if i go out in the middle of a cycle. So does it make you feel like shit or what?

Very counterproductive. Why deal with all of the discomforts of DNP, just to combat its effects with alcohol. Alcohol adds empty calories, slows metabolism, and very importantly, is dehydrating, making it potentially dangerous while on DNP. DNP cycles are short, just hold off if you're serious about your goals.

Shit... You guys really make a guy feel guilty for ripping it up once in a while!! You are right though ... it really is discipline! I believe that once in a while is alright though!! Beer can be a diuretic if on a heavu water bloat cycle!

Sorry for the shit comments

Jeez.

First off, have you DONE DNP? At any real dose, you are probably going to be so uncomftable that you will NOT want to drink.

Also, alcohol make you "feel" warm - something you DONT want to have happen, becuase the DNP will do that a LOT already.

Alcohol will also dehydrate you. Actually, this can be the part that gets a bit dangerous. Get too dehydrated on DNP, and you are looking for trouble.

Another problem with alcohol, is that your body will not burn fat until the liver has disposed of the alcohol.

But, you've got to have a social life...a few suggestions...dnp cycles are typically short, lasting ~7 days, if you go out with your friends, tell them you are feeling a little sluggish and just want some water...if you are going out for some special occasion, time your dnp cycle to start after it, or so it will end a couple of days in front of it.

All it takes is a little planning and a little discipline. It's not like you can't drink for the rest of your life. And if you can't go 7 days without drinking, dnp is only going to delay you getting fat.
