It's basically an illustration book of almost every movement/exercise and it's associated muscles that are in play - directly and indirectly.

It's a very good tool for the beginner or those of us that have a limited knowledge of how the body works. I imagine it can also be a very useful guide for developing routines.
 
That would be good for a beginner.

When Ive worked out with some of my friends who just started they ask "how do I work this part???", as they point to their tricep.
 
I've had it for awhile, it's a cool book. He has one for women, too, although I'm not sure what the differenes are (between the books that is)
