yeah i think he can do it, but so can Gonzo, he hit #37 today.
But did u guys read about Randy Johnson today??
Heres the headline from MLB.com.
Now that's relief!
Randy Johnson picked up where Curt Schilling left off in last night's suspended game. Johnson broke the Major League record with 16 strikeouts in relief of Schilling, and the two pitchers combined to keep San Diego hitless for 7 2/3. By the way, Luis Gonzalez hit homer No. 37 and Arizona won 3-0
Now my question is... what record, most strikeouts in a game or most strikeouts in relief?
I hate correcting you Matt TheSKywalker, cuz I got respect and props for ya cuz you know your sports shit, but Randy Johnson tied that record for 20 strikeouts in nine innings..but his team went to extra innings and lost..
Bonds left that game after his second homerun due to back spasms and missed last night's game. Hopefully, he'll be in the lineup today. I'd hate to see little nagging injuries that cause him to miss one out of every 10 games keep him from seriously challenging the record...
