Boiling gear?

Are there certain types or certain companies that you have found it is a good idea to boil before use? Is this done to make sure its sterile or does it have to do with possible alcohol content? Does everyone do it with their injectables just to be safe?

I don't think it is a good idea to boil gear. It my affect the compound inside the ampule.
