Personally I think they are all garbage, mostly. The only thing they offer is motivation (from the pics). They offer advice from juiced up 300lbers. There is no way they write the articles either. Could you imagine an article written by Ronnie Coleman, it would go like "You can do either bench presses or machine, its like comparing apples to oranges."

I used to look at them, but then soon realized they were full of ads, and only about 30-40 pages of anything (most of the junk too). Sorry for going on so long but to think of the money I wasted on them (about $200) over my life, yeah I know not much.:mix:

honestly i do

there are a couple out there that have articles on steroids and info with studys to back them up. its a different view that you dont see here on the net

hardcore magazine is ok

Havnt looked at one for ages and even when I did there wasnt much reading in them and I ended up just looking at the pictures.

Yes it is pretty cool when you see a few mags with articles on steroids, but could you honestly say that you learn from that article, than on this site. You have no interaction with the article, you can not ask them questions, or if you do it is very unlikely they will respond to you (guessing as I have never tried).

i will take an hour once a month and just read muscle mag inter. at barner or nobles .....used to subcribe but i can i finish a whole mag in a about an hour.....buy it then if is good

NELSON u still write for them?

I used to read musclemag and flex pretty often but now I'll only buy muscular development once in a while, but they are upfront about juice and acknowledge and embrace it, so I feel like its more hardcore.

although I am wary of it now that they ripped a guy off the boards article, thats just bad ethics.

They suck ass! Pump was an awesome one and I wish it would come back. Both HCM and MD blow dick. The only thing that I like at all is that one of them shows a big profile on a drug every issue. The rest is total garbage

I use to buy them religously and I based all my training on their articles. Since then I've discovered these forums where theres so much valuable information and lots of experienced people willing to help. Now I'll just buy the mags occasionally for entertainment value, like when they have a binkini special or something.

mags

98% bullshit. I like to read interviews sometimes, but even then, the BB's being interviewed are so often full of shit.

MuscleMag is the shit!

(Cuz I'm in the latest issue, and will be in it again with a follow up in 2-3 months, LMFAO)

Other than that, I don't read any of em, except for the fitness hottie SEXtions..........(sections)

MD is the only one with any somewhat cutting edge info on testosterone, AAS, and diet related stuff. Like all of the others, though, you still have to navigate around the BS ads and self serving promos.

i don't know if this one is still in circulation, but anyone ever read "muscle media 2000"? this is a bill phillips publication. this has to be the most blatant form of self promotion/advertising in the history of all media.

EVERY ad, article, editorial comes down to a promotion for bill's products, books, or ego. and who told bill he was so handsome? he features his disturbing looking mug repeatedly thru the magazine.
