Bodybuilding.com's forums suck ass

Tell me more about what they are doing right over there. Their site is the largest bodybuilding site on the Internet -- Elite is number 2. (FYI, we are both way ahead of Ironman, all the Weider bodybuilding sites, MuscleMag, etc.)

We are working on making Elite better, so let me have it.

I don't think it's a case of what they are doing right, but rather, the members seem more willing to participate on the various boards there than members here do. You get a much wider cross-section of opinion and advice that way.

they don't have as many moderators over there, but the one's they do have tend to have more specialist knowledge in particular areas than the moderators here do, anabolics aside.

Their nutrition/diet boards have some very good, knowledgable moderators on there and members who give good info. The diet boards here are substandard. Aside from Mr X, no one here really sees to have much idea as far as diet/nutrition goes.

I think it's up to members themseves here, to participate on more boards and help out a bit more.....make it a truly interactive site. And perhaps select moderators based on their knowledge rather than some arbitrary favouratism.

for people who dont know... this is one of the most knowledgable teens at bb.com... i respect zach for his info... and the cool thing is.. he doenst pretend to know everything... he is willing to learn... and i like that... we all can learn.. learning never stops

They probably don't have over a million searchable pages of knowledgeable info on anabolics, training and diet. I wager to say you can't have your own hosted website there. I'm also willing to say that you can't store pictures on their site either.

yall need to come off it... you know damn well that i helped my share of teens over there and i am pretty knowledgable.. i just got burned out over all the crap in the teen section... so i decided just to post in the misc section... big cat wouldnt have ASKED me to join the HH if he didnt see potential in me... and by looking at my pics from age 16 only after a year of training... you should see that i do have potential.

Well they is what they is and I'm entitled to post my opinion just as much as anyone not a mod is entitled to post theirs (within limits) on this chat board. Just because something is proclaimed a "respectable online community" or whatever doesn't mean kissing ass to other sites is a pre requisite. I mean, they sucked ass, really, from my experiences.

Maybe you should checkout the site and see for yourself. You can store pictures on bb.com or are you talking about the gallery here you could always store pics on geocities for FREE.

That's not saying much! I've butted heads with Zach and the other teens over there too many times to count. A teen just can't seem to gracefully bow out of an argument, even when proven wrong, and Zach is no exception. Zach is 16 years old, and spends time in the steroid and misc sections mostly. And Joe, (16 as well) I've never seen you outside of the misc section, whining about why you were robbed of post count, or why the mods pick on you, or why black people talk funny and treat you so mean. I was a vet in supps over there until they started banning some of the most knowledgeable vets on the board, and the rest of us migrated elsewhere. From what I could see, you never posted any advice. Time to grow up and stop whining, Joe.

Burning Inside, you are right. BB.com has become a joke, and nearly every knowledgeable vet is now gone, leaving teens advising teens. I go over there every now and then for a good laugh.
