the song "some girls" created quite a stir in with the line
"black girls just wanna get fucked all night"
jesse jackson, NAACP, etc got real pissy, threatened lawsuits, etc.
but they still say the line, at least they did when i saw them in concert

no, europe (mostly the UK) had many good bands come out during the late 60's and 70's, but that has pretty much been it.

now you have a bunch of homo's singing lines like, 'you're beautiful! you're beautiful! you're beautiful' and other unoriginal, uninspired crap.

I assume you only listen artist and bands that sing in English?
 
if the music has any lyrics, yes..it has to be in english. (i'll make an exception for KMFDM).

now if it is just instrumental music (nothing with lyrics), i dont care where it comes from.

What I'm after is that the world is full of good music, but because of the language barrier we will miss most of it. I've always said that every country has their own Beatles, and their own Dylans etc.

i am a huge tool fan...but i honestly dont like a lot of the new stuff that is coming out. everything is either emo or indie shit, and all of it sucks.

i dont need to hear song after song after song about being dumped, being ostracized at school, or being angry at your parents.

god, i hate that shit.

and fucking bands like panic at the disco suck cock. they copy lines and phrases from chuck palahniuk books and put them into their songs and song titles. how fucking lame.

i wish chuck would sue the bejesus out of them.

seriously. you think he's a bubblegum product? given he is jewish, but his credits are hard to measure. everyone has taken something from him. this is all i am saying. i don't even listen to him, but certainly more worthy than Cal Ripken Jr. as far as achievements. especially on MLK day....
