No, he meant it's only slow for your alter.
Runs fine under your normal user.

Well that doesn't make sense because I'm not an alter. I've come back after being gone for 18 months.

It seems fine to me. Maybe it's just that I'm slow, so it seems normal. I guess it's all relative.
