My Gf just got me a nice SONY one for christmas with a couple legit movies.

What else would be a "must-have" or really a solid movie for blu-ray.

I am a complete newb when it comes to blu-ray.

ROcking a 42'' samsung tv and need to actually setup my speakers since my neighbor below my apt. complex moved out.

*had complaints from various neighbors when it was setup haha.

Amazon has good one for cheap. Is widescreen the way to go?

Im not sure I have a Sony but im pretty sure theres an option under your tv's settings to make it stretch to full screen 24/7

Yeah other than the 3d bs. You can't really surpass ultra hd and literally perfect picture clarity.

3d seems over-rated.
