Bloodwork

Hey all, I want to get some bloodwork done
I wanna get my free test, binded test, igf, lh, fsh, and tsh done.

Is there anything else that I should have tested?

Also where could go to get it done without a doctors script or does a doctor have to write one?

Thanks

I'm curious to what kind of dr do I go to for this. Because I want to get mine done also. I have insurance and not sure what all I need to get them to check for?

You are also going to want to get a comp CBC and Metabolic panel. This will test for kidney function, liver function, etc along with platelets what kind of white blood cells rbc wbc etc.

You need to also get a full lipid panel. This will check for your triglyceride and HDL, ldl along with the ratios and total cholesterol.

If you are coming off cycle it is also good to check for estradiol and progesterone and prolactin levels ( if you took a 19 nor).

Another good thing to check would be on your prostate. Get your psa checked out to see if everything is still going ok..

These should be the main tests that you should get along with the ones you specified in the OP.

Good job on realizing to get blood work done. It is one of the most important parts to recovery and cycling.

I haven't cycled in over a year. I had some blood work done about a month ago when I had switched insurances. I still have the results and everything was perfect. Not sure what I need to get tested for before I start my cycle coming up.

So am I gonna need to go to a doctor to get a script for all this and if so can I go to like a chiropractor to get the script written?

It is not a prescription that you are trying to get.

You are trying to get the doctor to order blood tests for you. I doubt a chiropractor can do that for you.

Depending on your insurance you might be able to skip going to the doctor. If your insurance allows you to file claims for medical expenses independently of a PCP then you can order blood tests online and get reimbursed by your insurance.
