If I were to go to my doctor ( he knows I juice up )and he were to get a whole bunch of bloodwork done on me, would the results go to my insurance company? Or do they always stay with him?

Carth said:My doc is somewhat cool. I guess I should ask him if my results go to insurance. What do you think? BTW...about the proviron. What if I just take both tabs in the morning? Would it be less effective?
What would you get done that "didnt sound right"?Carth said:Would it make them suspicous if anything I wanted to get tested on me didn't sound right to them?

Seriously I wouldnt worry about it, your ins company probably deals with 1000s of blood tests a day, they would have no reason to be suspicious of anything.Carth said:He knows what I do. And he will test for whatever I ask him. I just don't want this going to my insurance and make them wonder why I'm getting these tests done.
If you sign a HIPA agreement just make sure that you choose the option to not let anyone review your medical records without your consent. For an insurance carrier to even want to review your records is extremely rare. All doctors do when they send in your claim to an insurance company is specify a number code which coincides with what procedure they preformed on you (blood work) along with a diagnosis which is also a code number.CLOMIDCLOWN said:stingray is correct. HOWEVER if you signed a HIPA agreement (in nys it is required to be seen by the doctor) then the insurance company can request results of your tests.
think about it, this could potentially be a probelm with rising insurance rates.
Yes, like I said I cant imagaine them wanting to actually see you chart files.Carth said:So sting...fuck it! Just go to good ol' doc and tell him to check me out for the necessary things?
