Blood work

Where does one do this? Will insurance cover it? (with no actual need other than me just wanting to do it...)

I'm in Canada if it makes a difference.

I'm US, but I can't see why it would be any different, eh? I have had a ton of bloodwork done this year, all under the care of a doc and all covered by insurance (minus negligible co-pay). For me, getting bloodwork is just like having any other procedure covered by your insurance...If you needed an x-ray and x-rays are covered, then bloodwork should be covered too.

Just go to your doc, say you haven't had bloodwork performed in years, and you want a full checkup including sex hormones (test, estradiol, LH, FSH, etc). It should be part of routine care to get this checked every so often. And then if something is a little off (say cholesterol, liver enzyme, etc.), well then you should have a guaranteed follow-up visit for more bloodwork in a few months to keep an eye on things.

Don't you guys have free health insurance anyhoo??

Just go to your doctor, tell him your taking anabolic steroids and that you would like to have blood work assessed.

You can't be reported to the police if your worried about that, confidentiality law protects you and he/she doesn't want to lose their job either.

My doctor always tells me to "stop because in his opinion it isn't worth it". I just nod my head, say yeah yeah and he either takes my blood then and there or sends me to the clinic below his office.

And yes, blood work will be covered by your provincial health insurance plan (god bless Canada).

If your doctor is a jew, you should have no problems whatsoever.

Okk thanks for the good info. I haven't done any AAS yet but am planning to in the spring. I'd like to get my baseline pre-cycle levels though.
