Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below If you go and get your blood drawn by a clinic that does that and they send it off to wherever to get a profile, are the results of that test totally confidential? In other words, if it shows your test level to be 2500 or something, are they going to do anything with that information or will they just send you the results in the mail and let it be your personal info, as it should be?

Simply put, you shouldnt have anything to worry about.
EDIT: Besides, having a gargantuan test level doesnt necessarily mean your on roids either.... Just means you have extra test in you....which could have come from an endogenous source as well.
agree-- hipaa applies. they open their mouth and you will be the proud owner of the clinic after you sue then senseless

You can't get the test without a doctor's order.
That doctor has to be notified by the lab, especially if the result is outside the normal range.
Some labs pay kickbacks to doctors/clinics. They may have a way to get around the requirement of doctor's order.
Only you and your doctor are entitled to see the result.
If your insurance is paying for it, then they can also request your medical records to make it sure that the test was medically necessary.
Only a judge can order the release of the result to any other party (by a subpoena).
