Blood when aspirating

When aspirating this morning i hit a vein so pulled the needle back out what exactly should i do now? obviously i'll change the needle but wot about the blood in the syringe?

just hold it with the needle pointing down and push out most of the blood, and change needle. but you can only do this right away. its now or never =)
 
No need to wait and unless you dulled the needle you can use the same one if you do it right then. Just clean the new spot (should be able to move 1/2 inch in any direction and shoot again)

It is your blood. It wont hurt you and no need to get rid of it before hand. Shit once in the syringe its already mixing with the juice.
 
No problem, just shoot it back in. Done it plenty of times. As Dane89s says, don't wait too long or the blood will get funky in the syringe. Just fyi, if you hit a deep vein in the glutes, you might have a sore lump in there for a couple weeks, and it can make the skin sore all the way down your leg as the blood gets re-absorbed. Rare but it does happen, and it will go away on its own after 3-4 weeks.

What I do is I pull the needle out a little bit, not all the way out of the site and then move it to the right or left and re-insert, usually it works, the blood in the syringe goes back in your body, I mean it is your blood!
