Blood Tests??

Johnny Gringo

I know this is a fairly vague question, but...How much does it cost typically for blood tests? I would like to get my liver, cholesterol and test levels checked. Any other recommendations. I'm about to start a cycle and I want to get everything checked before hand so that I will be able to make sure things are in check later on. Does insurance typically pay for this sort of stuff?? How do I go about setting this up?? See my physician and have him take care of setting an appointment and recommending me to someone, or what?? Any help here would be greatly helpfull, because I don't know anything about this sort of stuff. Just now starting to learn this aspect.

I've seen what my insurance has paid for, and that was between $500 and $700. I've never paid my self.

How did you get them to pay for it?? Did you get a doctor to recommend it for you? If so, what did you say to the doc to have him recommend it? Thanks for the help.

tell your doc. you want a physical and that your feeling a little tired have no intrest in sex and would like to have your test level checked when they draw your blood for the CBC. If your on a HMO yopur entitled to a physical per year. Otherwise go into
a private practice tell them you want a CBC and your free testostorone levels checked. Last year after I already used up my physical I scheduled into a a Dr. office that I never had been before paid 350.00 for free testostorone, estrogen, and dht
But if anything the CBC is must for me. Now i have a doc that
helps me with my blood work and is cheap

go to a free clinic worked in college. typical blood panel with no insurance $ 50.00 would include cbc, chemistry, anything else additional cahrge. liver pannel, choseterol about another 25 or so.
