Blood pressure

Got a friend that is 55 years old and he is taking is first cycle...

He is taking 400mg/wk test

He is telling me that is blood pressure is giving him problems...any suggestions?

Thanks

sounds like more of a lifestyle/diet thing. 400mg of test should not elevate his blood pressure much at all in fact he should be feeling like a million bucks. Whats his blood pressure?

blood pressure can be affected by many different things; stress, sleep, sodium intake, diet, exercise, drugs......I never ever had a problem with my blood pressure until my last cycle. My family doctor put me on medication and now its OK. As Armo said, 400 mg of test a week should not affect his blood pressure that much.

What was his blood pressure befor he started........i cant imagine 400 mg of test causing problems.

not sure how long its been since he checked it, but about 6 months ago it was 136/76...his diet is good, and he has't smoked or drank in over 35 yrs. He is 5'9" 195lbs. and about 13-14% bf.

My blood pressure has always been a challenge to keep under control. I've recently gone up to 258lbs at only 5'8 and now it's high no matter what I do and I eat very clean and only do hrt (i'm 34). I went to the Doc who gave me the option of meds, but said that my blood pressure was gonna stay high at this body weight. My heart rate is a steady 58-62bpm which he said was very good. I decided to keep an eye on it and continue to try and keep it down naturally but watch for rapid heart rate, palpitations, dizziness, etc. I'm gonna get checked again in a month and take it from there.

Why not just go to the doc and get BP meds? I take Diovan and Dyazide for my BP and it stays perfect on or off.
He was told once you start BP med you can never stop...think he's fighting the fact he's getting old...

Whats up aero...our friends blood pressure is 156/62...

Your friends BP is not bad if these #'s are correct. 120/70 is normal, taking into account his age he should be pleased.

A general rule of thumb on the systolic is 120 plus your age.

humm, thats interesting. I've been taking BP meds for my last three cycles, but only while on cycle with no problems.
