thanks for the link...ive been dieting and lost alot fo weight the past few months maybe my heart is thanking me...lmao

Another thing to remember is that the second number is the pressure when your heart relaxes and is filling back up with blood.

A low second number means that your heart was able to get an adequate amount of the blood that was put into it, out. It's called afterload. As a healthcare provider, I would be happier than a dog with a kickstand dick if all my patients had a diastolic in the 60's!

Also the most common cause of a malignant drop in bp is acute blood loss. And we wouldnt even be concerned til your pressure was something like 50/20.....

I'd say your ticker's just fine!

It's great to be here! I'm sure I can learn much more from this board than I could ever contribute, but I'll sure as hell try!

I work with Physicians / Surgeons for a living. Medical sales equipment, etc.

* First rule..... do a wallet biopsy. :lmao:

* Second rule. Bill for everything you can. You didn't spend 30 years in school do give out free advice. ESPECIALLY IF TOO MANY PEOPLE TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. Hint - Hint. :FRlol:

Or shell out 70 grand a year to attend medical school (tuition + cost of living).... But I'm not giving it out for free, I've learned a ton in the few days that I've been a member. I don't mind the knowledge barter system at all!
