I have high blood pressure and take Diovan. However juice does not elavate my blood pressure. Just keep a check on it. I may be the exception. Good luck

Hey Bro, dont know about Diovan, but I only use enalapril when I juice to keep the BP down. How does Diovan work?

What are you taking? As long as you don't get the estrogen levels too low you shouldn't have too bad of an effect on your bloodpressure. I would just be really careful that you keep the salt and alcohol down while you are on and maybe up your dose of your blood pressure meds. It is amazing how much sodium is in some foods, I have heard you should keep sodium under 1000mg if you have hypertension, that is like 1/2 pack of ramen noodles.

my doc just put me on enalapril for my bp also, I've only been on it for about 5 days now, and haven't got my bp checked since, but I don't feel as anxious since starting it

if you are on blood pressure medication they always prescribe a diuretic, since water retention is very often associated with elevated blood pressure, if you are on cycle, then keep a very close eye on your blood pressure
