Shirlene might of hit some of this but...
One of my curses that I fight is coffee. It bloats the hell outta me, but I somehow always end up drinking it at work. Then later end up looking in the mirror and notice how pudgy my cheeks(facial) look. Diruetics in general, bad. I've been trying to drink more teas. Good herbal teas are suppossed to relieve this.
I think the most common and probably most difficult issue (at least for me) is reducing SALT. I use lots of tasty spices like paprika, different peppers, garlic, oregano, basil. I made an old shaker into a crushed up powder of a most of these and it was pretty damn good. You'll discover new stuff too if you experiment, like for example, i put a bunch of tarragon in my eggs now, it friggin tasty.
If your having belly bloat, try yogurt. It works wonders for me.
I mentioned this on another thread a few mins ago, but some solid cardio and a real good sweat takes water off my face. I don't know if thats common but does great for me.
