Soooooo I got sold on a blackberry.. because of the convient rebuy feature for when I break it! :evil:

those of you who have one, have had one, what do you love about it, what do you hate about??

what would you recommend what should I entirely avoid??

Bro i love it and i am about to buy the new blackberry bold. and after that the true ipone killer the road and thunder code named .. There are to many great things about the blackberry the new bold has one of the best screen ever for a pda or phone period

I got the blackberry pearl.. pretty much entry level but what the heck! got to get started somewhere?

what do you absolutely love about it, what do you use it for? I already logged onto EF which isn't very blackberry friendly! hah, but still useable. :)

what are some good sights, themes I hear free ringtones for blackberry's etc etc??
 
i'm very curious about the new thunder.

the iphone is gonna die a slow death. samsung has a new iphone killer coming out too.

ya bro if you get your hands on some pics of thr thunder beofe i do post them up please.. there are a few fakes out there but nothing real yet . i think the blackberry thunder is going to blow the i phone out of the water

I have a pearl, I like it but... The camera sucks, music player sucks but texting is good. First phone I have used for texting, key are kinda small but the auto type thingy is cool once you get used to it. Can't synch with my work e-mail so going to ditch it and get a tilt.
 
i just got the blackberry pearl last week. i love it. i had the moto q. the screen is smaller but i love all the features and it not being windows based.

Are you running Vista on the computer you hook your BB upto? If I try to close that program (BlackBerry Manager) I get a blue screen. That is my other gripe, the software...

my laptop runs vista but i havent installed the software on it. i have been using my work pc which is still XP.

I think the camera is awesome, at least compared to my cellphone it's awesome.

I hate the text on it too because I do much faster with only nine key's and tnine, but then again it's a bit of a learning process.
 
Love it. I keep my BlackBerry and cell phone separate (which is also cheaper with the plans I have) so I am not forced to carry work with me 24/7. If you can get past the dependency issues people have, it can increase productivity and life outside of work.

never understood the kids that get blackberries for "fun" (i.e. you don't need it for work).
 
Love: full querty keyboard, easy msgng, sleek, stylish, support fully business appl.

hate: no wireless, need data plan to run internet, data plan = expensive

i only pay $30 for unlimited data plan.

the roller ball is great. instead of the scroll wheel on the side this one has a mouse type ball. it makes selections and scrolling much easier. the software is much more user friendly than the moto q and it is easier to surf through the phone for files. the battery life is good. i will get 24+ hours with heavy text, email, & internet use. it is much easier to find applications and edit options as well. i have only had it for a week so i havent fully utilized it yet.

i like how it now that when i get a text msg or email my whole screen doesnt light up and waste battery life. the battery indicator flashes a different color.

i use my blackberry to stay organized. i use it quite often when i am in meetings to respond to important company emails. notify me of new appointments that i have synced with my computer.


it is much smaller and lighter than the Q. i hated carrying that bulky thing around for awhile and it was constantly crashing due to mobile windows.
 
I had the blackberry pearl and liked it, but I like my Iphone a lot better. I like that I can have my phone and Ipod in the gym now. Sometimes I miss important phone calls while my phone would be sitting in the car while I am working out.
 
i got the pearl when it first came out and then the curve when that came out.

i loved them both. great phones. durable too considering how many times i drop the fuckin things.

the curve is great becasue of the real qwerty keyboard. i can have IM conversations the same speed as a computer pretty much and text like a madman. people without text friendly phones hate me though lol

i may get an iphone though..unlocked of course
