cool story on that:
in the book there was a guy who was in one of the vehicles hit by a rocket (i think). when a few guys gather their senses and climb out, one guy notices that a dead guys hand and wrist are severed. he doesn't know what to do with it, so he quickly shoves the hand into the dead guy's cargo pocket and runs from the vehicle.
that guy was in my training class in the q-course. (army special forces qual. course.). it was a trip when we got to phase two because some of the instructors were all "you guys ain't shit yet, just because you made it through phase one. there's alot of experience in this room!"(referring to themselves.) true to his professionalism, my bud never says a word, and only a few people know he was involved in that battle. he just sat there, and kept to himself. later that day, someone tipped off the instructors that he had been there, and one or two of them "acknowledged" him on the downlow. it was too late, though. they already looked like idiots by making a blanket statement like they did without knowing who in the class may have seen action before they got to the q-course.
