i go every year regardless if its worth it. Its become a tradition and I must get up as early as possible, no matter how hungover, and shop my ass off. Favorite day of the year. Last year I managed to get a phillips 42 inch plasma for 1700 bucks. They only had 10 and I got one. You never know what you might get......

I always avoid Black Friday, but bestbuy has a subwoffer I have been wanting on sale....$200 off reg. price.

Anyone know when bestbuy opens?
If it's 5 or 6 I may just stay out all night drinking and stroll thru on my way to the house.

You women, being the superior shoopers that you are, explain how this works on Black Friday. Is there a line ahead of time then people go in slowly once they open, or is it a free for all everybody rushes in at once?

best buy opens at 5 am ill be showing up at like 2 am hoping to get a few lcd tvs.. they got 22 non hd for 199.. 19 inch hd for 199 32 inch hd for 479 .. 50 inch plasma for 1600..
i love it. and yes there is a line to get in. I always bring hot coffee or chocolate to sip on w/ my other girlfriends while I wait.
when I go I save 1,000's. It is the ultimate shopper's dream. Everything is on sale - I mean great deals to get you in the door. I actually fought w/ a lady over a mp3 player that was marked down 150 bucks, or well she fought with me, but I was there first!! LOL I bought it for 20 bucks and gave it as a gift that someone thought I really spent alot of money on. lol. They only had one box and you had to be one of the first people to get there but they advertised it to everyone in the city just to get people in the store to shop.
I do shop more as a family tradition, something to do w/ the women in my family. It is quite an event. I dont like the pushing and fighting; but hey you cant let everyone walk all over you on a day like that. women can be brutal.

My mom taught us to shop AFTER christmas. I am all about the sale, but good lord, tell me you cant find better deals in January?

Good thing about mine is that is probably isn't a high-demand item. It's a home theater subwoofer.
Not too many people will be clawing each other over those I would imagine.

They don't necessarily "dance" so much as "walk around the stage with a bit of swagger, then rub their boobs in customers' faces when the green comes out."
If you want to have a good time, you could end up dropping $100 easily for some breakfast, since nude table dances are $40 and, well, the girls work hard for the money. But remember, you're hung over, and these girls are there to help you through your pain. If you bring enough cash and set a limit for yourself before entering, you'll be in for an unusually exciting morning.
