there are tornados headed right where he lives right now, touching the ground! and his prior threads have mostly been about how much he hates the rain. I'm worried about him!

I am deeply touched by the genuine concern. We got caught in the storm on the way home from Six Flags. I was actually a little bit scared and the girls were petrified. It hit as we got close to home, in the country. There were trees falling in the road all around us and it was raining so hard that I could barely see the road. I was afraid that we were going to get swept away by a flooding creek or get hit by falling trees. I had to take an alternative route home just as it was getting really bad, a tree had fallen in the road and completely blocked it. I haven't watched the news yet, to see if the tornados did any serious damage.

omg, I KNEW it would be bad where you were.

yes there was SERIOUS damage, a lot of roofs torn off houses, power is still out in a lot of places around the city.
