So I am farting around on the boards, thought I'd fish around for anybody that has actually tried this stuff. I grew up in NY with GH as mentioned here, I have not seen him in a long time, so I am not in a position to ask directly, but, maybe I thought someone here would have tried this stuff by now.

In Tour de France Hincapie Supports Armstrong, But What Supports Hincapie?

Clearwater, FL July 12, 2004 -- Almost no event challenges the body more intensely and exhaustingly than the 2,100-mile Tour de France. In 22 days of cycling, in which 189 riders will complete about 500,000 pedaling revolutions, they are allowed just two days of rest. Daily muscle recovery becomes an essential strategy for winning. What is one of the important daily regiments George Hincapie uses for body support and to speed muscle recovery?
George Hincapie, Lance Armstrong's closest aide and the only member of the U.S. Postal team to have ridden with Lance in all of his victories, said, "To try to compete without attention to the best nutrition would be impossible. I use BioBuilde to preserve my muscle strength and recovery, my immune system and energy."
Both this year and last Hincapie has been using BioBuilde, a new no-carb protein supplement, to help achieve optimum muscle performance. "I have enough BioBuilde to make it until the end of the Tour," Hincapie said, "but after that I may need a refill. I have been using it all season."
BioBuilde distinguishes itself among proteins and protein supplements as the only one with unique proportions of pure essential amino acids that are 99 percent utilized by the body. Other proteins -- eggs, beef, chicken, whey, soy, etc. -- are only 18-42 percent utilized, as measured by Net Nitrogen Usage (NNU), the scientific measure of the anabolic efficiency of a protein or amino acid. Thus BioBuilde provides shorter recovery time, stronger muscles, ligaments, and bones and improved lactic acid clearance -- enabling cyclists to pedal harder, faster, and longer.
For a better understanding of how BioBuilde provides more protein utilization visit the chart at http://www.bodyhealth.com/html/biobuilde/about_understanding2.aspj9 .
Jeff Spencer, the US Postal team's chiropractor, explained that last year "BioBuilde played an important role in the U.S. Postal Team's victory...We used it to accelerate muscle rebuilding and repair after each day's race and to maintain maximum lean muscle mass for the 22 days. It worked perfectly."
Many cyclists know that during a hard ride, muscles break down and need proteins to rebuild strength. If proteins aren't available, new muscle growth is delayed. Until the body can make proteins for muscle reconstruction, injury and exhaustion occur. BioBuilde not only supplies the body with much-needed protein, it does so without contributing any excess calories or waste.
Whether on bike in the Tour de France, or at home running in parks, lifting in the gym, or even working long days, BioBuilde users report faster and more complete recovery, greater strength gains, improved lactic acid clearance, improved immunity, and stronger bones, tendons and ligaments.
