Binocular advice?

Ok, the lady and I will be making our way out to Thailand for the honeymoon and I want to buy some binoculars. I want to get something small but rugged, something that isn’t afraid to get a little wet should I overturn a kayak. At the same time I don’t want to break the bank. I want them really for touristy reasons, so I don’t worry about some flash off the lenses. Finally, I don’t know anything on this topic, but thought you guys probably would. Any suggestions?

Check out some Fujinon Bino's ebay. great prices for spectacular bino's. Magnification isnt everything, quality/coating of the lens is.

Check out Steiner binocs. Especially the marine models. Just about the best optics out there!

Another vote for Steiners. Should be able to find a decent pair for $200, maybe less if you do your homework. You can't go wrong with any model.
