For those of you that have a binge eating disorder, what causes it?
I have been suffering from extreme sugar cravings for quite sometime. It started about a year ago when I came off a 12 week dieting phase which I ended up losing about 20 pounds to get shredded. My diet was 0 carbs with low fat/sugary carb ups once a week.
Basically I'm fine all through out the day but right after my last meal I get massive cravings for anything that has sugar in it. I cannot eat it in moderation either, I get this undescribable feeling to just stuff my face. 99% of the time I just fight the very uncomfortable feeling but when you have to fight it everyday eventually you will break. My appetite is huge so even when I'm in my bulking stages it doesnt get any easier to fight off the cravings. No matter how much clean food I eat, my body will always have tons more room for junk food.
I'm currently in my bulking stages and here is an example of a typical eating day.
Meal 1: 5 whole eggs, 3 egg whites, 2 slices of whole wheat bread
Meal 2: Protein Shake and a Banana
Workout
Meal 3: Protein Shake and oats
Meal 4: 3 Chicken Breasts and rice or baked potatoe
Meal 5: Usually same as meal 4 but sometimes I switch it up with
Meal 6: Steak and Broccoli
Meal 7: Protein Shake

Now here is an example of my last night binge. They rarely happen because I fight it off but once in awhile I break.
All 7 meals I listed above plus....
3 Kit Kat chocolate bars
Whole bag of these Chocolate covered almonds (bag was pretty big)
Big load of Jub Jub candies
10 Mini Powder donuts
I stoped here but could have easily kept going (and have done so in the past)
So basically I'm just sick of the afternoon cravings, theyre almost painful! If you got ideas that could help me out it will be appreciated.
