Bilirubin Concern

Hi,

Done a 12 wk x 500mg sustanon coarse. Been off for 90 days, and received blood tests today. I have a slight concern on the total bilirubin value, since the units used on this board are different.

My liver values are;
Total Bilirubin 18.3 umol/l - 0 to 17 - HIGH
Alkaline phospathase 81 U/L
Gamma G.T. 16 U/L
ASAT/GOT 21.5 U/L
ALAT/GPT 27.5 U/L

I would like to start again with primo & prop if this is not an issue.

That is not high.

It is only 1.3 units above the normal reference range which is nothing with regards to bilirubin.

Bilirubin is the breakdown product of haemoglobin which is the pigment in red blood cells.

If you are athletic your haemoglobin levels will be slightly higher than normal, and steroids also increase your red blood cell count.

More red blood cells, more haemoglobin, more breakdown product of bilirubin.

I thought mine were high just because they were above the range.
But my Dr. was not the least bit concerned. They are way higher then yours:

ALT - 122
Total Bili - 2.2 0.0 - 0.1.4 mg/dL

chol 3.47 mmol/l
HDL 1.31 mmol/l
LDL 1.88 mmol/l
Trig 0.62 mmol/l

renal;

urea 6.21 mmol/l
creatinine 67 umol/l
sodium 140 mmol/l
potassium 4 mmol/l
chloride 103 mmol/l
