The boss is on vacation so I haven't been doing much w/that BUT...
I DID have the balls to submit my artwork to an internationally juried exhibition. I know I don't have a chance IN HELL at winning but if my submission is accepted than I will have two of my examples of artwork displayed in a FOR REAL GALLERY in NY (So I guess that will make me a "FOR REAL" artist LOL) and will get much needed exposure and begin to build my resume. (Could you just imagine if I actually sold anything?! God, THAT would be a hoot!)
Even if I am rejected at least I had the guts to try so I am cool with that. We all have to start somewhere don't we?
Also I did hear back from one art licensing agent and instead of a FLAT OUT REJECTION I am being considered by their department. I should get the big rejection early next week.
Hey! At least it wasn't a flat out rejection so I am making headway LOL....
I will just keep plugging along until my work gets to "the right person" learning the skills that I need in the interim...
Putting all of my ducks in a row in order to have the life that I never dared to dream possible and give my girls THE WORLD.
