Tony Mandarich by far. Did he even take a snap? From what I remember, he was the first OL taken as the first pick of the draft, 6'6 315 ran a 4.6 40, never say one play. Wack!!!!
At least the others played a season.

Damn.... I can't vote twice?

Was Tony Mandarich that lineman that went to the fudge Packers?
Yes he was. He came back with the Colts in the mid to late 90s and played okay. He still sucked though.

Thank *fill in religious diety or icon here* for Football Americano. Did anyone see that collage game last night? Is Chester Taylor the *hit or what?

bro you also forgot mike westbrook from washington. But I'm takin' bosworth. he was a total flop from the get go.
Brian was'nt as bad as everyone thinks. He made all rookie honors/team. He lead the Seahawks in sacks his rookie year. He played his ass off. He just fucked himself by hyping himself up so big. If he did'nt have a degenerative shoulder condition, I believe he good have been really good.

Yeah, I remeber that guy.... I vote for him!

I was playing ball in H.S. when he came out. "Said" he didn't do any gear and that's why I didn't start earlier ..... fucking lier!

Have to go with Mandarich. Only college player to ever get voted onto the all Madden team. Then he really sucked it up in the pros.

What about Biakabutka. Worthless piece of... Can't believe the Panters passed on Eddie George for that garbage.

David Klingler for Cinnci by a hair over Mandarich. Manadrich at least revived his career a little so to speak with the Colts.

If you combine sissy attitude with lack of talent . . . Ryan Leaf all the way. Unfortunately he's still in the league.

Man Kryp2o, I hated Klingler from day one! Being a Bengals fan all my life, we have had alot of hype with no talent mother fuckers.

Yeah that one's still puzzling . . . but at least Eddie went to one of my other favorite team who happen to be playing like shit right now. =(

LMAO , Yeah and where does that start with none other than Mike Brown one of the worst owners in NFL history. Reminds me of the old owner of the Saints John Mecom. Love to piss away a team, the only difference being was money with Mecom. Brown just doesn't have a clue.

Terrell Davis...Broncos gamble a 6th round pick on him and he only put in 3 superstar years.:( J/K

Nah . . . he's not a bust. They got two superbowl rings with his contribution to the team.

Brown did actually get a few good free agents this past offseason, but I think that was his daughters doing. I hope he gives up the team soon! We have a chance of being 500 or better this year. I would love to make the playoffs!

It must have been his daughter then. How Mike came from Paul Browns blood line is beyond me.

sadly enough ryan leaf is the cowboys quarterback for the future now..you should see him starting in the next few weeks

But the hyping himself is what made him and he made some cash from the hype.

Anyone remember the article in SI about Mandarich? Eating basketfuls of food a day and doing squats til he puked and all that other shit?

Was'nt he the one who kicked the shit out of his own teammate a few years back?

yeah he beat the shit out of Steven Davis.

You could have added Heath Shuler and/or Andre Ware to the list too.

Didn't Ware win the Heisman?

Two words: Danny Wuerffel

Penn State is getting plenty of mention here. Interesting.

THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:

Blair Thomas. Keep in mind that he was drafted ahead of Rondney Hampton and Emmitt Smith. That was typical of the Jets, who pikced Ken OBrien ahead of Elway and Marino.

How about Ty Detmer? He won the Heisman as well, then went right to backup! And this year he started in 2 Lions games, 1 in which he threw 7 interceptions!

thermo ryan leaf was signed by dallas to a 5 year deal recently so don't think he will be going anyhwere soon

WTF...Ken Obrien was a superstar. Who is Elway and Marino? Names ring a bell.

Let's see....Akili, Ki-Jana, Klingler, Big Daddy Wilkinson....Gee they all played for our sorry ass Bungals, er, I mean Bengals. They also just signed Westbrook last week but guess what....he broke his wrist the other day & is supposed to be out for 4-6 weeks. I swear, I think they've been cursed. No matter who they seem to draft or sign they still end up with one of the worst records year after year. Poor Corry Dillon....I wonder what he's still doing here. If they didn't have him it would be even worse....if you can believe that. Btw, I'm voting for Mandarich. I thought for sure he was Hall-of-Fame material.

I remember seeing a clip of Westbrook beating S. Davis. It was so cheap, Davis was on his back, stretching his hamstring. Westbrook comes up and pounds his head a good 7 or 8 times as hard as he could. Davis was defensless the whole time.

Westbrook is trash in my opinion.

NB, freak daddy was talking about Brian Bosworth. You may be thinking of Bryant Westbrook, who played for the Lions (and may still).

I used to think Spurrier should've kept Westbrook but now...

Stephen Davis is THE MAN.

I'll have to go with Leaf, but who's Trev Alberts?

My 2 cents as a Bronco fan.....Marcus Nash! He was too stupid to understand the playbook. In college this guy was a favorite of Payton Manning!

mike westbrook broke his wrist the other day!! hahaha

Trev Alberts was supposed to be some stud at LB that the colts signed. Now he's not doing shit.

How dare you NB Trev is on TV talking about football.

he was a LB-DL from Nebraska who had a sick combine, the Colts drafted him with the 7 pick, and well he sucked and then blew out his elbow.

He was suppose to team up with that white dude from U. of Washington (later signed with the phins) and Quinten Corate to make the colts D of the future. They were all pretty big busts.

I would say Ryan Leaf is the biggest bust, because he got over 13 million and did nothing, plus he was a total asshole. Some of the guys on the list were okay players before they got injured. Some were busts, but I don't think they made 13 million, also most weren't crazy. Also I don't think Salaam was that much of a bust, I had him on my fantasy football team, and he had like 10 td's, he got injured which ruined his career.

yeah, I remember coreyatte too. boy on paper that year it was a good D. on paper.

Mandrich was the biggest bust followe by Ryan Leaf (close) Leaf was one of the worst QB's ever!

Jeff George was not a bust. He played 10 yrs in the NFL and pt up above averge numbers mostly on bad teams. George also led the AFC in passing with the Raiders in 1997. No biggest bust can lead the league in passing for a full season.

Wasn't Jeff George in the pro bowl a few times, I wouldn't call him a bust, he didn't live up to the hype when he was drafted, but he was a solid player that put up borderline hall of fame stats, I don't think he will get in, because he always played for bad teams. If he won 1 or 2 super bowls with the exact same stats, I think he would be a lock for the HOF.

Jeff George career stats, 27,602 yards passing, 154 passing td's.

I was just getting ready to type this when I read your post.

Jeff George - no place being on the list

Rashaan Salaam & Ki-Jana Carter were talented, but only "busts" so to speak b/c they got injured

Brian Bosworth was ok

Dan Wilkenson has been ok, but he was just way too overhyped.

Ryan Leaf has got to be the biggest bust of all time. What a fucking waste that guy is. I love watching or listening to the clip of his locker room meltdown when he screamed at reporters.

"Knock it off. Stop talking to me"

and then Junior Seau escorted him away from the reporters.
