Bigger Shit Hole NYC or LA?

Been to LA several times in recent months on bidness, and even in places I remember being very nice for the big city have turned shitty looking. NYC is a total septic hole of runny shit, puke, hotdog water, HIV, cock ooze, and vaginal discharge.
 
They're both two of the shittiest places in the US, which puts them pretty high in the running for shittiest in the galaxy.
 
L.A. all day long.
 
I've never been to NYC. I have been to LA. I'll just say this: we were walking on Hollywood, right around all the tourist trap locations, like the Chinese Theater, and I got propositioned by some crack whore in broad daylight and saw several drug deals going on at gas stations right off of Hollywood. Also, there was a galleria right across from our hotel in Fullerton. It was about 5 PM on a Friday, and there was nothing to eat, so I decided to walk over there and get something at the food court. At the front entrance were two officers.

"Sorry, mall is closing in 10 minutes"

"What? It's 5 o'clock"

"Yeah, but we have problems with gangs coming over here from other neighborhoods on Friday and Saturday night causing trouble. The property holder has decided to temporarily close early on weekend evenings until they go away."



Yeah...what a fucking asserhea of a city.
 
With the description o LA before me... Yeesh. LA is definitely a bigger shit hole. I love NYC
 
If you have enough money to insulate yourself from the riffraff, both are awesome. If you are the riffraff, both are pits. If you know your way around, both have their charms. If you're some hick from Bumfuq Egypt, your chances of finding those charms on your own are minimal.
 
Honestly, I've been to LA and live 10 mins out of NYC. Everywhere has shit holes. The difference is the shit holes in NYC, people keep to them self unless you make eye contact. If someone approaches you here you just keep it moving where in LA those fuck wads will follow you.
It's really a toss up. Do you prefer shit holes with palm trees or sky scrapers? Lol
 
Detroit and Stockton. Now those are fucking crap holes.
At least in LA and NYC there is money and jobs, in Stockton and Detroit there is nothing but drug dealing and welfare.
 
What's the difference? Crowds, crime, bad air, high prices for nothing, horrible traffic, rude manners, etc etc. I grew up in LA, and never had any urge to go to NYC. But what's good by me isn't necessarily right for the next bro. I despise all big cities for living in, but I'd like to be within a 2 hour drive of a big city for airports, hospitals, etc.

Somis, CA (about 90 mins northwest of LA; where I call home), or Jacksboro, TX (about 2 hours N of Dallas). Walk out your front door with an automatic rifle and blast away without breaking any laws, set a huge bonfire with no permit required, or ride horses or 2-stroke dirt bikes to the store... That's my idea of places to be.

After going to wyoming im very inclined to agree

Ive lived in austin since 1986 but its getting to be a big city, still real nice and nothing like houston or dfw.

exactly - Pasadena, San Marino, Manhattan Beach all some of favorite places and tucked in big ol LA.

Fixed, and GN'R were one of the better things to come out of it. Probably even better than the Lakers, seeing as how they originally came from Minnesota anyways.

This sums it up well. And given the weather in LA area, I'd take LA any day.

Just live in OC.
