Big and Fat

I am one large, fat, 45 year old male. I lifted weights about 12 years ago and thought about compeating. But I quit lifting and went back to school at night and worked all day. After getting my degree I managed to get a boaring job sitting on my ass. Now I am morbidly obease.
I started back lifting about 180 days now, and just resently began walking briskly for 30 mins in the morning and 30min to 1 hour at night. I have been traing hard on my lunch hour 5 days a week with weights.

Advise......

I have taken steroids before (12 years ago) but at my age and weight will roids help me get back into shape now, or will they be more dangerous?
 
you need to get down to a desireable weight before you take the steroids. 13-15% body fat most likely. ronnie coleman is 42 or 43? they help him out. :)

DIET and CARDIO, no steroids bro........no supplements, diet strictly with lot's of cardio you'll get there and appreciate this road alot better in the long run
 
bro, indy is definitely right. eat about 1800-2000 calories today, if you're as obese as you say you are, it'll fall off fast. supplement meals with protein shakes and also do about 1hour of heart pumping cardio atleast 4-5x a week. Run/Eliptical machine or stair stepper
 
Eliminate all simple sugars for 4 weeks .... only veggies allowed as a carbo. Read labels and do not eat it if it is full of sugar. This means all flour products too.

Continue your light cardio and workouts.

You'll lose a ton of water and fat ... plus ... if you have the discipline to do this, you can change your life.

this is the best steroid for you: DIET/CARDIO/TRAINING/DIET/DIET/DIET/DIET/REST/supplementation
 
i'd try the atkins diet its worked well for alot of people

NO... Just go on a 30% Caloric deficit, take in Veggies as carbs and eliminate ALL simple sugars... That with cardio will be simple/effective...
