Hi All

I'm writing this log up to keep track of my progress and to hopefully help someone here someday with a log of their own. I figure it's a good way to give back and show what I've learned through using this site and the help I recieved from the good people on here.


Goal: 1.) To lower BF% while building lean muscle
2.) Improve over all Mixed Martial Arts performance

My MMA will be a large part of my cardio..BUT

2-3 days a week I will:
Warmup
3 minute walk at 3.5mph (3.5 incline)
1 minute jog at 6.0 mpg (3.5 incline)
1minute walk at 3.5mph (3.5 incline)
TRAINING
30-45 seconds at 10-12mph (3.5 incline)
90 seconds at 3.5mph (3.5 incline)
I will do this 7-10 times

Alright, numbers weren't how I had hoped given my heigh and weight but whatever, at least I'm makking an attempt right? I'm hoping this log will keep me dedicated and on track. But i'll call today a "feeler day" anyways.

So today is volumn day of the Texas Method, once again I'm doing this because it's MMA specific and focuses on the core strength.

I warm up before all of my exercises with lighter weight, i'm not going to mention that or include that in my log as I feel warming up is kind of a given.

I also did some curls and tri pull downs, just to do a little bit of arms as even though I'm working at maxing my MMA performance I wanna have a decent physique too :)


To mention, with a spotter I can usually rip off a bench of 225, I"m aware that 185 is not a 90% of 225 but I wanted to ensure I could do it 5 X 5. Plan on moving up in intervals of 5 or 10lbs every week.
 
Nnice I've never tried the Diesel, I liked the beast so much I had to give it another rip.


yea beast is potent for sure. The diesel is giving me some nice size and the katanadrol is keeping me lean for sure. And im up in weight. Strength gains are crazy good too. Gotta love these products its ashame theyre getting banned for good within a couple months! Time to stock up!!! :evil:
 
For sure man, I'm stocking up over the next month..hopefully tho they will just contine them under a different name.. (COU-superdrol-GH) lol

Believe it or not guys, that first workout kicked my ass. I could barely get out of bed this morning, I was soo tired and I got my 8 hours of sleep. Legs are tender too, I have MMA tonight, hopefully will make that as I won't be doing my HIIT today. MMA tonight, WOrkout tomorrow, HITT Thursday with any luck.
 
did some jiu jitsu last night, still pretty sore from Monday's workout, but that was a good fuckin workout. Today is Recovery day workout. Will post my weights/reps and thoughts. I'm feeling good though, drank 5-6 liters of water the last couple days.
ALthough being sore last night, I was still pretty strong and aggressive, I felt almost relentless. One of the guys I rolled with told me he felt amazing before we rolled, afterwards he looked as if he was ready to vomit and I could of kept going. :)

My legs were pretty tender from Monday's squats, but they didn't feel too bad ripping off these 2 sets.

Standing Over Head Press (I've seen a few places that suggested standing as you need to use more of your core to lift so thats what I did)

I was actually shocked at how few I could do, maybe im still sore, but on the negative I completely straightened my arms, I don't think I always used to do this, so it made them a lot more difficult

Overall I feel pretty good, I did feel some what weak on the chin ups, but as I"ve mentioned I think I used to kind of cheat before and wouldn't fully straighten my arm The over head press felt pretty good and my legs are def tender, will need a lot of rest to take full advantage of intensity day.

I had MMA class tonight, I took some N2KTS before the class as I was feeling a little run down from a long day at work. What a buzz that stuff gives ya, holy shit. It gave me drive to push through a lot of our warm ups but over all I think the Texas Method is really starting to work for me, that and the beastdrol. I felt really strong in class, and it was non-stop strength. Normally I would be able to hold a guy up against a wall/cage for a few, work for the take down and once we repeated the drill I would get more and more tired. Not last night, I was relentless with my take downs and stuffing take downs. I felt really strong and can already feel my conditioning going up.

TIP: Don't take N2KTS if you have to sleep 5 hours after you take it, this stuff lasts a while. Althoiugh class was only about an hour and a half, when I went home and was unpacking my stuff and cleaning the house up a bit I could feel just buzzing energy coursing through me. Not saying it was a bad thing, but at 10pm at night it wasn't good lol. Therefore I will only take it around lunch from here on out.

Today was intensity day, and what a day it was.
Started off with Squats, I warmed up for all 3 exercises with a lighter weight but I don't really log that.

This felt good, legts felt good, I like this weight and can see me continuing to increase it over the next few weeks.

This felt ok, but I would of loved to have a spotter so I could of hit my chest with everyone, I should probably go 195 for Monday, I think it would be more benificial.

Power Clean 5X3 - I read this wrong and did 3X5, but at least I did it.

This was good, felt great but now my arms are fuckin killin me haha Great workout in all though, I'm looking forward to the weekend to recover. I plan on doing a bit of HITT this weekend, probably a fasted cardio saturday and sunday morning. That's the plan anyway.


Physically I feel and look good, I'm up to 200lbs, but it's definetely muscle I think I've built up quite a bit, my diet has been bang on since I started with only 1 cheat meal. I can def feel the increase in power in some things, my bnech felt a little weird but I think my arms were a little sore from grappling and sparring last night. Besides that though I feel great. :)
 
Yes its never a good idea to mix N2KTS with high androgen if you need to sleep early. There are days I GET NO SLEEP LOL and train again LMAO. In bro!

N2kts is no joke! It will have you goin for awhile it can take you thru work mma and then your lift

Went to the gym for some fasted morning cardio, about 10:30 am, had a little sleeep in :)

warm up, 5 minute walk at 3.5 incline and 3.0mph

30 seconds at 10.5mph (3.5 incline)
90seconds at 3.5 mph (3.5 incline)

I did that 7 times (forgot my water at home so I was gtting pretty dehydrated and thirsty)

Cooled down with a 5 minute walk at 2.0mph, no incline.


Legs felt fine after yesterdays workout for today's cardio, Im' going to do some more cardio tomorrow morning, most likely fasted. be the same format as above only I might try to get a few more sets in.


I feel good physically, I am starting to tone up a bit, I'm not taking the beastdrol on the weekend, but keeping on the need2slin.
 
I always do, 2 with breakfast, 2 with supper and 1 before bedtime with a big glass of water. Sorry if I didn't mention that. I didn't do anything today (sunday) figured I'd get a good recovery in to punish the weights tomorrow. :)

Overall I'm feeling good, I find myself leaning out quite a bit, most likely from the need2slin. I'm getting good rest and lots of protein and water,I'm drinking a gallon of water a day, plus usually about a liter when I work out. My strength is def increasing but it's my first time doing a program like this so it's kind of hard to judge the results. But physically I feel and look better, and I have a good sense of well-being.

I'm also up to 202lbs :P And I'm eating very clean and as I've mentioned leaning out so it's def some good lean muscle, and no doubt a bit of water weight from the massive amount i've been drinking

awesome results so far it sounds like bro. N2KTS is legit i love that stuff ill be in the gym for hours. Ive never tried Need2Slin but only heard good things about it...

Also the more water you drink the less youre gonna retain. So thats a good thing ur drinking so much!

Also when I do military press, I have clips that I can just rack the bar off of at shoulder height, BUT when its heavy weight ill push press the first one up and I wont count it. But if I can strictly get it up then I count that as my first rep. So when you clean the weight up, try jut strictly pressing it up and couning that as ur first rep instead of wasting energy pressing it up and THEN having to do 5....if that makes any sense haha

I will def try need2slin. Are the results permanent? I thought it shuttled carbs into the muscles and thats it...

logs are great bro. i o one too called the ultimate athlete u should stop in there and check it out. I just made it though so its pretty new still
 
Cool man I will check that out as soon as I have some time. And ya it says it shuttles the carbs in, but I took it on it's own before and noticed a difference in my physique, line starting to go around my abs and stuff they became more visible. I def liked it, and it's good when running beastdrol because beast is carb driven, so the need2slin makes sure the excess carbs dont make ya chubby :P
 
That is the beauty of Need2Slin, usually carbs quickly go into fat tissue but that definitely is not the case when I supplement with Need2Slin, I am sure when on Beast and N2Slin, food becomes never-ending.

Machine maxes out at 300, I think I might stick to the reverse extension, I find I feel it a lot more then this.


All and all I feel good, upper body is getting a lot thicker and I have a great sense of well being. I feel very fit and am still leaning out. I start the Katanadrol on Monday, I can't fuckin wait :)

I was fuckt afterr that, arms were sore as hell couldn't do any assistance just had to get out of there and get my muscle replenisher by need to build muscle into me. :)

Did some fasted cardio this morning, just 20 minutes. No huge pace or anything as my legs are a little weak from yesterday. Nothing really to report just thought I would throw that out there, need to start doing some more cardio I think it will really solidify my results
 
I made a plan I'm going to start forcin my ass out of bed evry Mon-Wed-Fri mornings and doing it. Then I can do my workout at lunch ttime, hopefully this works. Starting KDROL MONDAY for 25 days, can't wait (25 days cause I am hoping to fly away on the 26th) and wil lbe taking my PCT away with me :)

TOnight I went back and did some arms, felt some energy so I just did Bi's and superset with tri's. Followed by 10 minutes of sprints. Treadmil kept fucking up is why I didn't do more.

Overall I feel good, powerful.

Woke up and did some morning cardio, just did 20 minutes at intervals. 3.5mph walk, 8.0-11.0mph sprints for 30-45 seconds. Did this for 15 minutes out of the 20, 1 minute warm up, 4 minute cool down.

Didn't make it to the gym, had a lot going on with work and I just couldn't get there, it was recovery day so I did some squats at home with a 40lb weight vest on, push ups and a few ohp with light free weights I had for a shoulder injury, they are like 8lbs or something. Just did them really slow and focused


Had MMA class last night, great workout and I was hitting fuckin hard. I could really feel the power generating from the feet right to my hands when I was throwing punches, my shoulders were a bit sore from throwing so many but thats a work, my gas tank felt great!

Today there is snow everywhere so if the gym isn't open I'll prob just do some heavybag rounds at home, some burpees, etc. nothing too hard but just something to get the heart pumping.

I am def noticing a bit of a difference in my physique, starting to see more lines and look more etched. It's def enough to keep me motivated on down days like this.
 
Friday, January 28th

Woke up this morning, did 20 minutes on the treadmil, 2 mins at 3.5mph and 2mins at 6.0mph. My legs have been bothering me lately, feeling really weak and not recovering well. I'm getting lots of rest, well at least i am in bed for at least 8-9 hours and am eating 5-6 meals a day. Not sure what it is, i sit a lot during the day, sitting at my office desk or driving around...going to hit the gym up later today for intensity day.

Today I didnt do the full Texas Method workout as described, mainly because conme Monday I am going to give Wendlers 5//3/1 a go because I think it will be more effective for my MMA training. Texas Method is meant mostly just to be done on it's own and I think the massive amount of squats are hurting my mma game in that my legs are never fully recovered. So Monday or Tuesday I start Wendlers!!

Ok I'm going to keep with the supplements and stuff I spoke of, but I am changing my workout route. I am going to do Wendlers 5/3/1 T NATION | How to Build Pure Strength

I am going to do it exactly as laid out there. 3 days a week, so week one with be Workout ABC, Week 2, DAB, Week 3 CDA and so on.

I'm thinking on running this workout Tues/Thurs/Sat. This way I do my MMA Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat and I have Sunday and MOnday as two FULL recovery days.
 
I've only been on KDrol like 6 days and I am DEF noticing a difference in my leanness, esp in my stomach. I hold ALL my fuckin weight in the lower area of my stomach. or the "spare tire" as people call it. I'm getting my BF % measured again on Feb 11th I'm excited to see. (I started around 16-16.5%) I def don't think I'm there.

I find this exercise really different from the Tewxas Method, almost feels liek I'm not doing enough but at the same time I am. The OHP wasn't bad but the Dips and Chins were taxing on my arms, esp the dips. The constant grip wit the dips feels weird when I let go. But ya, thats that. Also , I did some boxing from 7-8:30pm which was good as well. Tomorrow (Thursday) I will b doing workout 2 of the Wendlers program and will report back then. weight is still around 200 but physique is def changing!
 
Yeah dude it's not bad, I dunno if im going to stack in into a 2 day split or what. I'll worry about that once I get back from my trip as of right now i'm going to do it as I mentioend. I missed the gym yesterday because I was ill. Between sicknes and the amount of snow storms we've been getting I haven't been at MMA it keeps being cancelled. Hopefully get to BJJ and the gym tomorrow!

tonight I did some BJJ and then MMA, I was very very powerful, pulling people apart. My strength was through the roof in both BJJ and MMA
 
Sorry guys, I didn't gert a chance to lift this week, it's been crazy at work I've been putting in A LOT of time, I'm going to the gym later today to do some workouts so hopefully I'll have something solid to post. My physique looks good, def leaning up!
 
nice work dude. i do about the same as you with training. used to take kyokushin karate, boxing, and starting bjj. gonna switch out kyokushin for some western kickboxing, then into muay thai in a couple months. i like rock climbing too for upper body. was wondering what workout plan was most compatible with training. although i train at mma for one week, then i work out of town for a week so i only weightlift when im gone. just getting over an injury sorta thing/sickness and getting ready to rock n roll again here
 
i liked the 5x5 protocol while i was training bjj im hurt now so its just rehab stuff but strength workout three times a week is exactly what is needed
 
So im' done my log, thanks everyone for following.
It seems whenever I cycle something, somethin fuckt always happens. This time it was work and life, things really got hectic and I barely had time to eat let alone train. I do have to say though that the beast def increased strength, 20mg seems to be the magic number. Katandrol at 250mg was great, no sides but next time I run it I think i will bump it to 350mgs. I noticed significant fat loss mainly in mid section, really started to notice abs more.

Only complaint was that
A.) It sucks you have to take Katandrol so spread out and so many pills, it's hard to remember to take 5 pills a day and to have the time to do it (I work with people cant be popping blue and white capsuls in meetings)
b.) I noticed towards the end of the cycle my sex drive was really down, it was kinda weird, just no interest, Girlfriend starting to get pretty self-conscious thinking I was going to give her the boot, but now that i'm on PCT + Unleashed I'm waking up in the middle of the night and hoping on top of her

I think that's it as far as the Con\s. I def recommend this cycle to anyone who doesn't want to inject and doesn't want to dump a pile of cash,

What I ran... (just for thsoe people that read the first page or 2 then skip to the end)

Week 1 - 4 Beastdrol 2 caps ed (1 morning, 1 afternoon) (doing 5 days on, 2 days off [M=F]
Week 3 - 6 Katandrol 5 caps ED (spread out 1 every 2 hours)

Week 1 - 6 Milk Thistle (4 pills a day, breakfast, lunch, supper, evening)

Thanks to all who followed this log and cheered me on, I will def be doing another log...

My next log will be strictly fat loss. It will consist of Forged burner, 1 cap a day starting, then maybe up it to 2 depending on how I feel, looking to start this first or second week of march, going to run for 45-60 days.

Therefore NEW Log will be

week 1-6,7,or 8 Forged Burner 1 or 2 caps a day
