BFL , the theories

I got a question.
In the BFL program, how could you (I know you can, but theoretically) burn fat with its diet.

Some people do morning cardio on an empty stomach, some fat is burned there. BUt what about the rest of the day, and at night? When insulin levels are always high and steady due to the carbs? Do you have to wait until night time till you get the fat burning effects? What about if youre one of the ones that dont do the cardio in the morning.

Calories are below AMR. But insulin evades and ALMOST blocks fat loss. So basically, what Im saying is Bill Phillips needs a new version of the book - even though it has worked for maybe not a handfull, lets go for a bag full.

Agree ? Its not a cutting diet, but a mere a Joes guide to losing fat? He talks about how you need EFAs to burn fat. Where do you get them in his book? From the occasional once a week salmon steak? I mean he needs more clarity IMO.

Its a great program, for practicality. That you gotta admit, if it were as easy as clenching your fist twice and punching in a few numbers in the micro then fuck, id have a blast eating. But, it just aint like that.

Who agrees.

I got to 6% B.F. on the BFL diet....So I know from experience that it will help you get lean.....The problem being that I only weighed a stunning I60lbs on this diet....I think it works great for those who are "out of shape" but it obviously not geared towards Bodybuilding....It is what it is.....I think the whole MuscleMedia thing is geared more towards middle aged people who have let themselves get out of shape.....and in this case the diet really does work....But I think it does not work in our case...

Hey blood I worked for Bill at Eas well when he owned it (and lets not it get around that I worked there) But anyway in therorie you burn more fat in the morning. Because your body at night has no food soures but yet it still is at work so it works off of fat stores. So 1st thing in the morning your body is still in this mode. Thus burning "more" fat by doing cardio in the morning. During the day your are more likely to burn the cal intake you have. In therorie

As far as the Efa's you have to have a supplement, I know i didn't say that in the book, but alot of things where left out (ie stretching) But this is the basic just of this all. You must have fat to burn fat. Fat makes up cell membranes in the body as well as tissues on a basic level. Carb's are the natural energy for the body, and we all know about protein. So in short, if your body "majorly" is deprived of these thing it will either store it when it comes in or use other things for energy. So really it's all about a good balance.
just some thoughts
