I got a question.
In the BFL program, how could you (I know you can, but theoretically) burn fat with its diet.
Some people do morning cardio on an empty stomach, some fat is burned there. BUt what about the rest of the day, and at night? When insulin levels are always high and steady due to the carbs? Do you have to wait until night time till you get the fat burning effects? What about if youre one of the ones that dont do the cardio in the morning.
Calories are below AMR. But insulin evades and ALMOST blocks fat loss. So basically, what Im saying is Bill Phillips needs a new version of the book - even though it has worked for maybe not a handfull, lets go for a bag full.
Agree ? Its not a cutting diet, but a mere a Joes guide to losing fat? He talks about how you need EFAs to burn fat. Where do you get them in his book? From the occasional once a week salmon steak? I mean he needs more clarity IMO.
Its a great program, for practicality. That you gotta admit, if it were as easy as clenching your fist twice and punching in a few numbers in the micro then fuck, id have a blast eating. But, it just aint like that.
Who agrees.
