to the young guys who might end up being interviewed for the PBS in the mix program on steroid use by adolescents - i wrote for some more information and got this back: "The show will feature an expert, a
discussion on the effects of steroids and a discussion group of people, ages
14-21, to discuss negative experiences associated with steroid use. "
though i'd rather believe it's going to be something other than the usual trash 'n' horror stories about anabolics, looks to me like they'll be aiming to just replicate the normal negative press about AAS. if you're going to do the show, just remember that these are the kind of public discussions which perpetuate outdated and inaccurate mythologies about steroids - be careful in what you say, especially as the producers will probably want you to come out with some dramatic negative stories to push up the sensationalism of the show.
i'm not saying to lie, of course - but what you think you said and what they will make it look like you said can be very different things. remember - they get the final word in editing the show.
