best time to take glutamine

Do you have L-glutamine or peptide bonded glutamine

If L-glutamine (a free amino acid) is consumed at the same time as other proteins or amino acids, the L-glutamine has no effect on muscle growth. A peptide bonded amino acid, such as peptide bonded glutamine, has been shown to be absorbed up to 20 times more efficiently than a free amino acid such as L-glutamine, in the presence of other proteins or amino acids because peptide bound amino acids are absorbed via a less competitive absorption mechanism.

Therefore if its L-glutamine it should be on an empty stomach.

yea i got this protein powder that works fine by itself.. Im starting to realize that u dont need too much other junk other then good protein powder, and good creatine. diet and lots of hard work.
 
more confusion: apparently creatine and glutamine should NOT be taken together, as they compete for receptors (they attach to the same ones apparently) and only one will win. I just read this the other day but for the life of me I cannot remember where. But I am not making this up.
