Best tasting protein?

What protein powder do you like best, taste and cost wise? Best place to buy it?

I just bought some from Sams Club and I think I'm going to throw it away. Maybe I can return it lol.....

Just buy bland protein and flavor it yourself.

As for pre-mixes, some favs are...

BIG BLAST Tropical Orange

MuscleMilk Banana

Optimum Nutrition Double chocolate

Synergy Vanilla Ice Cream

As for quality, BIG BLAST is far beyond any of them.
 
Ok.....time for a laugh.....because I am a cheap bastard.......Body Fortress (aka the Wal-Mart Brand)......only comes in choc or vanilla but 12.97 for the kilo (2.2 lbs) is a great deal any day of the week....23g protein per scoop and almost no sugar.....you can come very close to the flavor of tapioca pudding by mixing the vanilla (2 scoops) with a cup of quick oats and some hot water......their creatine mix is pretty sound too for postworkout....preloaded with dextrose and taurine for a quick insulin spike postworkout with 5 gr of creatine mono(no fancy esters here).....
 
Optimum Nutrition tastes chalky to me, never liked it..

PWO- either buy True Protein (whey), Labrada Lean body, or Iso Pure.

MRP - Muscle Milk, Dymatize Mega Milk, or Eas Max Milk.

IsoPure ! Vanilla mixed with straight H20 and it tastes freakin wonderful!! Love that stuff. Zero carbs as well if your cuttin too!

Where do you get it?

If you list a protein, try and list the best place to get it - that would be really helpful.

EAS is what I bought - but it's the vanilla and yes, the vanilla sux. I bought EAS because I'd heard good things about it. Next time I'll get the chocolate.

You can get the 2.2lb jug at GNC. But their prices are kinda high.

Google IsoPure and look for some places to order, i've been orderin my 7lb bucket for like $75 US. Thats ALOT cheaper than GNC, trust me.
 
I'm still using all the free protein biotest sent me while I was writing for them.
 
Well...it tastes good, if you're interested in protein powder.
 
The best place to get it is for free from Biotest for being on their staff. Other than that, I have no idea. I don't even know why I brought it up...I never actually bought the stuff...

Try their website? I have only had the Vanilla flavor (don't ask why, but they always sent me the same flavor, month after month)...I think it's pretty much the same price as any other protein. It's...umm...kind of thick and a little sweet, so if you like that, try it out.

The EAS chocolate sucks worse. The Strawberry is good.

I never liked the Biotest flavors. They all had an almond aftertaste to me.

This is totally subjective. Everyone likes different things which is why I suggested buying it unflavored and mixing in Nestles Quick, vanilla syrup, fruit, ice cream, etc.

And again, how important is quality? Some crap whey concentrate or soy with a ton of sugar will taste great, but what's the point? Your better off eating a hamburger. If you're going to use a protein supp make it worthwhile -- something that's going to help muscle growth, not just fill your belly.

I love all the isopure zero carb protein shakes. I buy the 7.5lbs buckets in all flavors vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

I like to mix the vanilla with one frozen banana in the blender. Chocolate and strawberry are good on their own but if you add two teaspoons of splenda it taste like an ice cream shake.

The best price I found is at www.netnutri.com. They go for about 65buck for the 7.5lbs bucket.

Met-RX RTD 51... Chocolate Peanutbutter Low Carb / Fat 51grams of "P". this stuff is great for me. I also buy ISO Pure by Natures best the RTD and powderd.

Hey free is free. But like I said, I used to get Biotest for free and then give it away and buy my protein from Protein Factory. (This was before I worked for them).

The MASSXXX is ALL SUGAR!

And Isopure is $40 at Vitamine Shoppe for 3 pounds. For an extra 5 bucks you can get BIG BLAST which has super plasma protein, creatine, NO2, whey isolate, organic whole egg, HRS, and digestive enzymes. No comparison.
 
dude go to body building.com and get the higher power protein...best I have ever had......like 28 bucks....oh yeah and that sams club shit is horrible...trash it!!!

Yeah, but it's mostly whey concentrate, which is inferior in regard to bio-availability. Even if something has no sugar, a 2 pound can of whey concentrate is really only about a pound and a half of protein. They add a touch (but don't say how much) of "better" protein to make it look good but overall it's not all useable protein.

ISO pure ZERO carb vanilla and chocolate are really good...high quality too....syntha6 is good in strawberry and cookies and cream.
