Thanks sabertooth........I'm pretty sure someone Nelson(?) mentioned that the downfall of using guggulsterones to increase natty T3 levels were that guggulsterones raise estrogen.

Yeah, I was speaking with dr. Eric Serrano (one of the smartest guys in the busiess) and happened to mention I didn't think gugglesterones were all that amazing. Also, all the research on it was really vauge and a stretch to say the least. He said he conducted a study with guggel for two reasons: one, to see if the T4 affect was legi, and two to test for increased e levels. Why? Well, the doc used some nice deduction. He speculated that because there was inproved skin tone form the use of guggle it might have an effect on e since e will improve skin quality and clear acne. Sure enough, if more than half the subjects, e was elevated. And only a couple showed improved T4 and it was so minscule it was virtually insignificant. That's why I choose to leave it out of ZIP! and use more proven ingredients.

Products like the one in the last link aren't developed with any rhyme or reason. They just find out what's hot, rip off some promo literature and start selling.
