Who do you think is the "biggest"
1).Franco Columbu
2).Lee Priest
3).Mohammad Makkawy
4).Pierre Vandensteen
Any others ?

My money's on "Little" Lee

Lee has some SICK arms! He looked awesome at the SF Grand Prix last weekend. Although I've always thought Franco had one of the best chests. There's a shot in Arnold's book that shows Franco flexing his chest and he's got three cuts that you could fit pencils in that clearly define the upper, middle and lower chest. :eek2: It's just awesome. Plus he was strong as FUCK! DLing 800lbs w/o straps. That's just ridiculous. ;)

Oh and what about Tom Platz? He was a short fucker with some HUOOOOOOGE legs.

yeah I walked in the gym the other day and shawn ray was standing there and me being 6'1 I was like man he's a pro bb, but he's just short it doesnt make a fuck, Im huge compared to him.........now imagine how a 6'6 guys feels...............I say it doesnt matter their so fuckin short who cares, their muscles may look good with no clothes but with clothes on they are short asses who look like they have no size, same with lee priest in clothes I saw him over at the firehouse, and he's so fuckin short, its like whatever!!!!!

Yeah I know what you mean. It's funny to me that when you look in the magazines they ALL look huge, no matter how tall they are and it's difficult to tell how much bigger one is than the other. But man is it noticeable in real life. At the SF show Shawn Ray and Milos were sitting at one table and Ronnie Coleman was at the one across from them. He looked TWICE THE SIZE of those two. It's just freaky. :eek2:

franco is one strong mofo from the old school and the old days of gear ( no gh, stanzol ect) but Lee looks good i must ask are you short bro???

and not to forget that none of today's stars

can be compared to Franco or Arnold.
We all know that Franco and Arnold would make it in today's BB. But how many of today's BB would have made it in the seventies without the drugs of today?

That seems tall for Milos. The vast majority of these guys are short. Ruhl is listed at 5'10, and he dwarfs alot of these guys. I like Franco alot out of the old school and Lee Priest in today's world. Both are other-wordly in terms of their physiques.

I think Lee but Ahmed at the Arnold also looks really good. A lot of bb are 5'10" and shorter. I think that no matter what height that you are coming in at a contest weight of 235+ is not an easy thing to do. Regardless of height all pro bb's have had to have great dedication and committment. In regards to being shorter, or vertically challenged if you prefer, when compared to the guy that is taller you have to give the illusion of packing on more size since the guy that is taller automatically gives the illusion of being bigger in size. So I find no matter what height you are hats off to all the bro's that are successful and inspire us to work hard and push with great intensity in the gym.

So my vote is for another short guy like me, for Lee Priest.

How tall was Labrada? I'm a fan of that guy and I like his products.

He's 5'6". Or so he states on his website. His shakes are the BEST! It's one of the few MRP's that actually "taste good". I didn't like the bars though.

Franco!!!

Dude hands down Franco is the master. My mom loved him in Pumping Iron, too. He could definitely make it today. Plus he is more about a healthy lifestyle and balanced life. He also has a more balanced physique. Lee's borders on dwarfish. Plus have you seen some of the pictures that have been floating around of Lee Priest he lets himself get so out of shape between contests.

Franco was a bad-ass. No question. He was a great all-around athlete as well. Soccer, boxing, etc. In many ways, he was more impressive than Arnold.
