The best protein for bulking or anything else for that matter would be a mix of a slow digesting protein and a faster one. Such as casein and whey 50:50. Infact, as long as its not postworkout you would get much better results using just casein 80-90% as opposed to whey, because it is released over the period of a couple hours as opposed to under 30min and they both have very complete AA profiles.
Nlarge is good, but your paying premium price for a container thats 80% sugar - maltodextrin. I think its 40-50g pro / 80-100carbs, or something. If you just spent the money on a same sized tub of protein (almost identical price), and bought maltodextrin (which nlarge uses) really cheap locally at like $2-3 a lb. You could mix your own tub and get 3x the product at the same price - just requires a little more effort.
